The original liquid polyurethane waterproofing membrane! After 25 years going still going strong – only getting better as the product used to be a tar modified urethane but now tar free. Duram 195 cures to form a tough, flexible, ‘rubber-like’, seamless waterproof suitable for UV exposure. Typical applications include roofs, gutters, retaining walls, planter boxes, landscaped areas. Duram 195 is black in colour but will not bleed or stain tiles or grout as the product is tar and bitumen free.
Duram 195 is a single pack, moisture curing, self-leveling membrane which cures to form a tough, seamless and elastomeric (class III) waterproofing membrane. Duram 195 incorporates UV stabilisers, absorbers and antioxidants which enables greater UV protection and stability than conventional aromatic polyurethane membranes. It is suitable for above and below ground applications as it bonds well to most suitably primed building substrates.
Duram 195 Waterproofing Membrane meets the criteria of:
- AS4654.1 2012 Waterproofing membranes for external above ground use. (Exposed areas must be topped with Multithane ATC).
- The ‘Green Star’ environmental criteria.
Uses
- Exposed Areas: Roofs, decks, terraces, balconies, podiums and gutters (when top coated with Multithane ATC)
- Tiled or Covered Areas: Wet areas (floors and upturns), decks, balconies, terraces, podiums, retaining walls, planters & landscaped areas, structural slabs, pits, bunding areas and water retaining structures, door flashings
